"[T]he news reports indicate that Russian military forces crossed an internationally recognized border into the sovereign territory of Georgia. Russia should immediately and unconditionally cease its military operations and withdraw all forces from sovereign Georgian territory. Compare this to Obama's response, "Now is the time for Georgia and Russia to show restraint and to avoid an escalation to full-scale war. Georgia's territorial integrity must be respected." Barack is a orator, not a leader. His response, as great as it sounds, clearly blames both countries for the outbreak. He doesn't care that Georgia was invaded and did not initiate the conflict. This conflict has brought to light Obama's real foreign policy platform, ‘pacifism.' Avoiding armed conflict is a noble act, but blaming the victim in the name of ‘peace' is no way to handle this situation. It's as if a woman was mugged and Obama peeks around the corner and says, "Lady, don't hit back." It is clear that McCain understands the dangers of the world and how to handle these types of problems. Obama, however, seems lost.
